Im loving all the changes they have made to the game...Except the prices in the eververse they are just to high. $12 bucks for ONE emote and weapon skins at $8 for ONE weapon skin is ridiculous. Just lower them a few dollars so it feels like a good deal and not a rip-off.

Edited by Robotyze: 10/14/2019 7:08:32 PMLuxuries are for the rich only, not only in this game but also in life. And luxury items are almost always way overpriced and usually a rip-off.

Here's an idea. Don't buy the stuff.
-
I mean they did make a good portion of the game free
-
Really? I find them cheap. Haven't spent a dime in Eververse ever, maybe that's why.
-
So dont buy them.. Its that simple .. Theres nothing any of us need from eververse.. There never was and never will be.. Has nobody been taught the difference between wants and needs in life? Posts like this are too funny

Edited by Fate: 10/14/2019 8:37:21 PMOh and no hive themed shaders There better be some with the festival of the lost Or I’ll drown in despair lol

The problem is the cost of silver. Pretty much all publishers set a uniform cost for their in-game currency, at rates that start $5 or under and escalate above $100. It's inane to pay more on in-game currency than it is to buy the actual game upfront, but that's the way all devs/publishers go. What's disappointing about D2 in comparison is that most other devs give you a way to earn currency in game, with real money transactions being a short-cut if you don't want the grind. So my proposition to Bungie is this; give us a way to earn silver in game, or adjust the cost of silver.

Blops4 has a 25 dollar weapon skin.
-
The entirety of the shadowkeep dlc is worth 1 dollar less than buying 3 emotes from eververse at that price. 🤨
-
They pretty sneaky, everis has practically NO new stuff. And the exotic ornaments costs are ridiculous, I mean no more engrams its locked behind the season pass and only few of them. And the ones I did redeem game me nothing but old shaders I already had! Then theres barely anything to buy, it's like they purposely put crap stuff and very few things to buy. They focus so much on everis that they put her in our directory too lol
-
They are taking cues from the Atomic Shop.
-
Right? I had 10 free Microsoft bucks and figured what the hell I’ll take a $4.99 bundle of silver, support the game. Guess what? You can’t buy a single thing. Wish I could get that money back. I would have spent all 10 but with tax it went over my gift card amount. Lucky for me I guess.

Edited by Artifact: 10/14/2019 6:15:11 PMYeah I’ve been a little confused on the prices. I haven’t bought Shadowkeep just yet because I’m waiting to see what happens but here is the way I see it which is what I think is the smartest. Personally I don’t understand why Bungie doesn’t do this..... So we have an emote for 12 dollars. Pretty expensive for someone who doesn’t sleep with a pillow that says I <3 Bungie. So it’s those core buyers that make spend money. But how many core buyers are there? Some $12 emotes I have only seen once in maybe 10 raids. That’s 1 for every 60 people. That’s 1.6% of the D2 population. That’s pretty low. ( I know not everyone raids but it’s the easiest ratio 1/60) However when it comes to micro transactions there is no “supply factor” because it is an infinite digital item. There is only demand. So if demand is so high for an emote, why restrict to big fans with more money. Why not be appealing to the masses? Bungie could reduce the price significantly. Let’s say 200 silver or $2. If this was the case more people would buy them. So let’s do the math.... at $12 with a purchase 1 per 60 players that’s $120 dollars at 600 players (10 purchased).... at $2 which is at reduction of 83%. Meaning to meet the price margin of $120 in 600 people, they would have to sell 60. To me that seems really self explanatory. If a good emote was priced at $2 I see them selling at least 150-200/600 players or 1/6-1/3. Grant it I have no idea how much they actually sell but with infinite supply, why not give to the highest demand? I’d buy an emote for $2 not $12. Dare I say most agree (I think my math was fair but you can check) edit:spelling

Most of the eververse gear is not attractive. The lunar shell was the only thing I wanted due to the perks and would have purchased it but dont want to support eververse when it's taking up all of the resources at Bungie and leaving all other vendors dry. Besides, moon shell should be available this Tuesday for bright dust according to the data mines.

A result of the split with Activision. We trade one villain for another
-
I just want to get rid of this 100 silver from a previous season without buying anymore.
-
Ironically, you are begging to be ripped off. You want them to lower prices so that you can justify spending more money for baubles. Still have not spent a dime on silver over here and I could not care less.
-
Aren’t you glad activision is gone😂😂😂
-
Didn’t you read in Luke Smith’s opus, called The Director’s Cut, that in Y3 Bungie was going to take Eververse to places it had never been before? All the way to the bottom of our wallets to dig out every last penny?
-
Meanwhile every single one of planet vendors are...well, stuck in year 1 vanilla.
-
The worst offender (in my opinion) is the finisher bundle. It costs 2100 silver to purchase, so at best i'd would have to buy the 2000 + 300 silver option. For a whopping £16.79, I will get a set of 2 second animations. Why am I being charged more than half of the price of Shadowkeep for 2 second animations? Hell, I could buy a full game at that price.
-
There's not a damn thing that eververse offers that's worth your money. Dont ever pet yourself get further ripped off by bungie. They're worse than Activision Blizzard.

Edited by Pord: 10/14/2019 7:08:13 PMHave you seen fortnite’s prices?! That’s shits like $25 for a skin
-
Edited by Golden_Apple: 10/14/2019 7:13:29 PMCan we consider the Season pass an eververse item, since you have to pay with silver in game to have access?
-
And everybody took the bait that Bungie was going to be different when Activision left. Those who actually believed that are grade A suckers. It proves once and for all that eververse wasn't some mistress that Activision forced on Bungie. They are just as greedy as ever
-
Another thing is the fact that Bungie has said that we won't be able to get any exotic ornaments from this season for bright dust. I'm not sure if it's the same for the legendary ornaments but I do know that the exotic ornaments can only be bought for silver. This is stupid before there was a chance to get the good stuff from eververse through engrams or the rotating pool. Now eververse is a complete middle finger with the good new stuff being locked behind multiple walls. It's ridiculous what Destiny is becoming. All the good looking stuff being made is only put into eververse for absurd prices. You'd think Bungie would want to put some effort into other areas but nope. Bungie only cares about putting the good stuff into eververse with high prices so that they can get more money. Activision was never the problem, the problem is Bungie. Imagine what the halo series would have been like if Microsoft wasn't in charge.
