Im loving all the changes they have made to the game...Except the prices in the eververse they are just to high. $12 bucks for ONE emote and weapon skins at $8 for ONE weapon skin is ridiculous. Just lower them a few dollars so it feels like a good deal and not a rip-off.

I think they should make eververse item purchaseable with bright dust like they did with solstice armor glows.
-
Agreed. They would rake in the money if they approached these items more like ITunes. Make them $1 and create more of them and they would fly off the shelves of Eververse...

Edited by Saxifraga: 10/14/2019 8:33:42 PMHey! It's a free to play game! .. Oh wait ..
-
Lol lets see them respond to this
-
1 it's 700 silver which equates to about $5.50 2. You don't HAVE to buy them 3. The game is FTP now . Give me 1 FTP that doesn't incentivise skins.... Ile wait 4. They are beautiful and if you really want it but it if not it will be in next season free engram. 5. Don't be cheap 6. Stop crying about a independent company that just went free to play that is charging for basic stuff to make money.
-
Then don’t buy. There’s nothing in there that you **need**.
-
to, two and too. The 3rd one should have been used twice.
-
It's kind of a catch 22. The people who buy microtransactions like that are somewhere around 23%. The prices are high so that 23% of players can make the numbers the devs or publisher want to see. If say it were 60 to 70%, we might (but I doubt it, why turn down extra money right?) lower priced mtx. In a survey, more than 75% of gamers said they were willing to buy them, but no data was given on why they don't. Could be the price.
-
If you think it's too expensive, then simply don't buy it and move on just like everything else in life. You're not obligated to purchase anything.
-
Go rob a bank and you can buy all the emotes/skins you desire
-
they are cosmetic items and have absolutely no impact on gameplay. Go mow lawns or help your mom with chores if you don't have the scratch.
-
No big deal. Don't like the prices, don't buy the emotes.
-
And no ones forcing you to buy it
-
They made the game and first 3 dlc free, you can buy a dlc separate from everything. So no more making money off an entire season pass, so they went the mmorpg route and making money off the cash shop. Instead of complaining just realize they’re helping the game. A skin doesn’t give you 30 extra damage or make it fire faster. Either they drop the prices and the game content suffers or you suck it up and just buy it. If you’re enjoying the content then yep support them.
-
The game is mostly free. Don't complain
-
What emote is $12? What weapon skin is $8?
-
Hashtag is it still Activision's fault?
-
Simple solution, dont buy them. I dont.
-
What do you expect from a free to play game?
-
Or just wait to buy them with bright dust my guy
-
At least it's not Warframes microtransactions those are by far worse in some cases.
-
HAM AND NO BURGER!? ::stomps off::

Edited by Avarice: 10/14/2019 7:14:44 PMKind of shitty that cosmetics for a paid game are so pricing, this is know fortnite, we paid for the game and we pay for the dlc even when it comes with a 4 hour story. However I’m not one to care for cosmetics I just think it’s a shitty move
-
Eververse is a way for people to buy cosmetic items if they want, they don't provide any in game benefit. If you have noticed, the way Eververse is moving is to have current season cosmetics being available primarily from Silver, but past season cosmetics being able through Bright Dust through a rotation, this allows you to get the cosmetics you want eventually. I think this model is pretty optimized, it still creates a revenue stream for those who want the "latest and greatest" cosmetic items, yet gives players the opportunity to get them at a later date through Bright Dust.

Edited by Divine_Majin93: 10/14/2019 7:26:04 PMHey, if people are desperate for attention and validation that they need to purchase a $10-$20 skin, bundle, emote, or whatever else in a video game to feel good, might as well make money, right? Does it give Bungie the moral high ground? Nope. Is it sad that they would resort to that given Bungie's illustrious history of creating some of gaming's most treasured gems? Yes. But that's business. And business, as they say, is booming. Edit: spell check

Edited by Robotyze: 10/14/2019 7:08:32 PMLuxuries are for the rich only, not only in this game but also in life. And luxury items are almost always way overpriced and usually a rip-off.
