Im loving all the changes they have made to the game...Except the prices in the eververse they are just to high. $12 bucks for ONE emote and weapon skins at $8 for ONE weapon skin is ridiculous. Just lower them a few dollars so it feels like a good deal and not a rip-off.
-
It sucks but like many things, it's priced at what the market will bear, enough people pay it for them to keep things as is. If it's too high, they'll lower it at some point, but in their eyes, it's better to start too high and then when Christmas rolls around, slap a "25% off!" graphic on there even though the discount price is still way too high.
-
I would buy more eververse stuff if it was cheaper! A lot of things sold for silver now will become available for bright dust later.
-
It bugs me that items cost 100 more silver than what you can buy directly.
-
I understand bungie needs to make money, but it’s 100% bullshit that there’s ZERO way to earn any of these items in game. This is what I get for staying loyal to bungie? Old rehashed engrams of gear / ships and etc I already own so that they can cater to new light leeches? It’s -blam!-ing lame. Shadowkeep is an amazing expansion for being mostly re skinned, except for armor 2.0 and eververse. This shit needs to to go, and eververse needs to be reverted immediately.
-
First off no one is forcing you to pay for a cosmetic item that is free will. There are a lot of cosmetics in the game but Bungie did not tell you open your wallet to spend silver to get something you don't need for gameplay.
-
I've never spent silver there (even when it was given to us for free) and never will.
-
and optional.
-
Can’t believe I spent $50 on this Expansion where all the resources just goes to this Eververse
-
Games free
-
What kind of fool pays real money for virtual items?
-
I have spent over 2-3 grand on this game for brightdust, emotes, skins you name it i got it if it came from eververse. Adding in the dlc prices too. Yeah its my addiction to this game i want it all but its way to expensive. Im the sucker they love to lick. 🤑

Buying silver boosts your exotic drop rate so why not, it's only money
-
Edited by crithon: 10/15/2019 3:57:47 PMjust don't, buy Forsaken or Shadowkeep instead. The amount of random exotic drops you get will eventually even everything out.
-
You've got my support OP. it is ridiculous. I work in a 3D studio (don't care if you believe me) and considering the emotes are 90% motion captured the amount of work that goes into them doesn't justify the price. However bungee has provided thee a loophole, they will mostly all be for sale in bright dust soon enough.

Edited by Sarges24: 10/15/2019 4:18:43 AMthat's one glaring issue with Eververse. Pricing. I'm not a fan of micros but for games I do love or that are Free to Play I am open to spending a little extra cash. With Destiny however, they've priced me right out even considering a single item. Not to mention I've paid $60 for the base game since D1, Day 1, along with every single DLC/Expansion/Season Pass. Honestly I feel like items should be priced at $2.50 and $5 w/ the rare exception of maybe something costing $7.50; say an armor set. Weapon Skins, Emotes, etc, should be priced at $2.50 and $5. This is a reasonable price that attracts more customers and also allows us to use the entirety of our $5 or $10 Silver purchase. $8 per finisher or $21 for three is just ridiculous. As is the current pricing of all items. I think they'd actually see more revenue from dropping the pricing and making it more affordable. Bungie!! At least give it a test run.
-
"We here at bungie have to charge a higher price for that awesome weapon skin or emote so we can make sure you, the player, don't have dedicated servers for another 4 years" - Every nose picker at bungie studios.
-
Don't buy it? Oh wait, that's too easy, best to complain.
-
5 new guns in the game, 50 new eververse items. Welcome to post activision bungie.
-
Not buying anything is way more loud than complaining about it on the forums. If they're not pricing things to move then thats on bungie. Why is bright dust and silver even different things though? Everything should cost bright dust. If you want to grind your ass off for 2 weeks to get 10000 BD to get the thorn ornament then grind away, otherwise spend a buck or two in the shop.
-
Then don't buy them. Or, get a job. You can't always ask mom and dad to buy your cosmetics
-
Edited by jnikoley: 10/15/2019 8:21:29 AMBut it’s FTP* *$24.99 for Forsaken, $34.99 for Shadowkeep with one season pass. Additional season passes $10 each redeemable in game for 1000 silver. Not transferrable. All sales final. Don’t like it, suck a stick.

Edited by Collins9875: 10/15/2019 10:51:16 AMWelcome to the Free 2 Play world. Players in World of Tanks habitually pay $60, or more, for a pixel tank and War Thunder Market players are paying what equals the down payment on a car, $1800, for a pixel tank. I am by no means justifying it, as I think it is absurd, but the white knights and those with more money than brains will throw money.
-
No ones making you buy them
-
Edited by Shirokuro Okami: 10/15/2019 12:07:24 PMOoh yeah, I really effing love the new hunter armour ornament but £15 is a bit much... A tenner I could probs justify but as much as I love the new set, I don't think I can justify and extra fiver... At least we can straight up buy what we want though. Much better than when we had to keep buying engrams for just a chance at maybe getting what we want...

Black desert has 33$ costumes. Try me.
