Pretty weak argument. It's *free* now because it's worthless. You still have to pay to play anything even remotely relevant. Bungie made their money already on the content thats now free. What they are giving away now is something no one was buying. Anyone even interested in D2 already had it. It was already free for a majority of the playerbase. This is a maximum profit, minimum content business model. Paid dlc, micro transactions, loot boxes in exchange for playable content that is mostly reused assets and a chance to spend more money on anything that looks new (eververse)

For your information saying I have a weak argument is to say my statement is untrue and full of holes, The game is free to play with 3 main story campaigns to play through. and you can earn a HUGE majority of what's in the store from playing the game. here's something else, if you like the game you're going to invest in it. are 10 dollars really sucking you dry for a new season pass? 10 dollars will bearly get you skins in some games. idk I guess people have forgotten that human beings are working hard on the stuff they made for you. it's selfish and childish to beg for more when you can't even lift a finger to do anything yourself. Again nothing you are getting for free is relevant. The majority of the player base already had D2 for free. But no, if they are going with a maximum profit model and push eververse so hard then I expect to see some sort of content to reflect that. Instead it’s just being funneled to make more eververse stuff. There’s what, 4 “new” armor sets you can earn via game play? Raid, iron banner, moon, vex offensive. Raid is reskin, and vex offense you get a full set for free with the battle pass. We got a handful of new weapons. We’ve had the moon and it hasn’t been expanded that much. Refused enemies as well. Bungie has done better, and it should b expected of them. Once u hit 950 there’s very little meaningful things to do
