That is a very interesting idea. Dredgen Yor had a gun called the Rose before he became "corrupted" by the Darkness and recieved the Thorn. Once you destroy the Heart of Darkness rose petals fall from the sky. It states in the grimoire that the Traveler created the Garden, not the Black Garden, so it could have been "corrupted" by the Darkness.
