Oh man. It's a different story if you were actually showing her a good amount of attention outside of Destiny, but it sounds to me like you have little free time as it is, and were spending the little time you do have playing Destiny. If she feels like she was being replaced by the game then that was likely the case, and for you to feel like SHE is being the selfish one is foolish. No matter what, I believe a meaningful human connection and relationship is more important than a video game, let alone Destiny. I understand the grind, don't get me wrong. But if I had a girlfriend who I legitimate valued and she asked me to cut back on playing, I would because she would mean more to me than a Fatebringer or Icebreaker. Also, this is the reason why women feel like cheating on their man, because he spends all his time grinding strange coins instead of grinding the strange coin in her pants. I don't know your life, but it sounds to me like you both are better off doing your own thing. She wants a man who isn't staring at the TV longer than her, and you want a girl who won't mind your grinding time. I advise finding a gamer girlfriend so you guys can grind together, I've seen this before and it's awesome. Basically, think about what your priorities are. Do you want a girlfriend or a wealthy amount of exotics and legendaries? Not trying to bash you, just saying that if you are gonna game to the extent that you are, don't expect your girlfriend to be cool with it unless she's doing the same thing.
