It's not like the movies and you die with all your family around holding your hand, or lying in bed with your wife of 60 years like the notebook
people die around complete strangers in the hospital, the back of a ambulance, or at home in the toilet.
It's life. And death.

That happens too often unfortunately. my brother, stepmother and I took turns staying in the hospital so my father wouldn't die alone or with strangers around...
