To be fair there is a shop 2 minutes across from me. There is about 60 dogs that take a dump in this overrun abandoned bit of land between my backyard and the shop. Bikes and household appliances often dumped there. Or I have to walk to the end of my road down three other roads to get to the front of the shop. Takes 12 minutes.
If by taking this extra time I was given a discount at the shop or purpose I would gladly do it. By why waste my time walking the designed path if I already done so, if I can save time. I have to go to shop every week... Why waste all that time for no reason. I rather take the short cut.
If Bungie gave a reward many would play this properly. Otherwise they are going to take the patches they find shortest easiest.
