The OG Xbox was popularized primarily because of Halo. It was next gen FPS gaming and that no one had seen before. Microsoft didn't make Bungie what it is today, Bungie made the Xbox into what [i]it[/i] is today.

This. Never a big halo fan but I do see what halo and its sequels did to set up the Xbox and future xboxes up for success. I played halo 3 a decent amount, dabbled in reach but that's it.
