Just to let you know, Bungie also made pretty good PC games before they made Halo... So no, neither Micro$oft or $ony "made" Bungie. Bungie made Bungie by producing great games, Microsoft paid Bungie for Halo to be exclusive.

If Bungie went with playstation for Halo it wouldn't have been as successful. The early playstations and PS3 were shit. Xbox 360 was a far superior console at the time and there is no arguing that. I doubt people would buy a inferior console to play one game on it. Bungie made a great game for a great console. If Bungie went with PS it would of been a great game for a bad console. We wouldn't be where we are today playing Destiny, one of the best games ever made mechanically and graphically without Microsoft and the Xbox.

The only problem I see with your logic is that Halo didn't start on 360, it started on the ORIGINAL Xbox, I would know because I still have it. Even then Online didn't become popular until the near the end of it's life cycle.

Wow, the stupidity of youth. PS3 was a far more advanced system than the 360. The only reason the 360 even was a competitor was because it launched a year earlier(and why rrod was a thing) and for $200 less than the PS3 when it launched. And yet the PS3 still caught up or surpassed the 360 for sales.
