Apparently they went to Microsoft first, and they turned them down(just what I've heard, not 100% on it) What I don't understand is the fascination and butthurt from Xbox users about Bungie branching off and leaving Microsoft. Microsoft clearly wants to milk the Halo brand for as long as it can, while Bungie wanted to make a new ip. Then Microsoft takes Bungie employees to make 343. Then they took their lead story director as well. It seems like there might be a bit of bad blood between Bungie and Microsoft. [spoiler]I own a 360 and PS4. I've thought of getting a XBOne as well. I'm not a Sony lover, and I'm also not a Microsoft lover.[/spoiler]
