I don't like this at all. Yes it's exploitation but what if the leader gets kicked because of bad network code at this "oppurtune time" .. You know it's gonna happen given the stability of the servers the game is on. It's just a matter of time. What should they do? Quit their hours of time into the raid and start over because Crota needs a time out ie: bungie can't get their netcode together? This is serious and needs a fix..fast.

It's pretty easy to spot the difference between random disconnects from a bad internet connection and a player who consistently always disconnects as the party leader at about 2 minutes into the Crota fight but has no other network issues.

How would you know? Also that player doesn't exist. The servers aren't that consistent for [i] anyone[/i] lol

I've only ever been disconnected twice since launch. So for some people it's pretty consistent. All I'm saying is just don't be surprised if it happens.

I don't think bungie in good conscience could do it. A fun thing they could do to people who consistently do it [i]if[/i] that is something they can track.. Is "tarnished by darkness" a bar that fills as you exploit the game. At rank one it just makes your armor black and gives the red stagger indicator over your head. Rank two you lose super ability. Rank three your light levels disappear leaving you at level 20 until it dissipates. Each rank taking two hours of in game playtime to dissipate to the prior rank. Or pay xur 30 strange coins to cleanse per rank
