You can't get banned for the crota kneeling cheese lol idiot
-
Doesnt matter if you get banned or not, have some selfrespect and dont cheat in a video game
-
let the games begin!!
-
I never accepted such terms of use. #xboxuser
-
How about Sony's violation of their own t's and c's? E.g. psn going down more times than a seasoned hooker??
-
They will fix the glitch for hardmode release. Nobody will get banned. If you're hoping for your fellow players to get banned shame on you.
-
You talking about this?
You may not modify or attempt to modify the online client, disc, save file, server, client-server communication, or other parts of any game title, or content.
Nothing will happen with this, just like nothing ever happens to the hosts dashboarders on COD causing an entire match to abort. This, by the way, actually affects others, while this boss cheese does not. It may be frowned upon but it won't result in a ban. That's ludicrous.
-
It's no different than on ufc when people would shut off their system right before a loss so it wouldn't affect their record. It's cheating but you shouldn't get banned for it.

To long didn't read

Edited by Sgt Slaughter: 1/1/2015 6:45:50 PMEven if it was considered a violation of the TOS (which is unlikely), nobody will get banned. I personally prefer to do it legit. I have about 15 clears, with 3-4 of those being cheeses do to various reasons (people running out of time, randoms just not being able to pull it together and reset is coming up, playing with friends who all want to do it, etc...). First, Bungie is not going to ban those who cheese primarily because they would end up banning a large percentage of players who actually do the raids. I cant speak for all, but if I was banned, I would just forget about Destiny and play something else. Not very good for the bottom line (which, lets face it, is Bungies and Activsions main focus). Secondly, it is my understanding that network manipulation refers to actually manipulating the network through means not available on the system ( such as a lag switch or modded console). Disconnecting from the internet, which is an option on the console (atleast ps4, not 100% sure about xbox) doesnt really count at network manipulation as you are not really manipulating the network, just your connection to the network. Finally, this exploit has little effect on the pvp portion of the game (perhaps iron banner to an extent, but it is minimal). Some people have mentioned Bungie banning players in halo, but this was do to exploits in the pvp, not pve. Bungies main concern (atleast it appears to be) is making sure players do not have an unfair advantage over others. If someone figured a way to have the host leave and it give an unfair advantage in pvp (or by some other method), then their would likely be bans. This is just my take however. I will continue to try to do the raid legit whenever possible and chese when needed. Ill just hope my assumptions are correct, otherwise ill be heading to bestbuy or gamespot. Edit- Meant to say I had about 15 clears, not 25. Typed the entire message on my phone.

meh, grandpa...

This is a world of gamers Vers devs. If we can find ways to beat their challenges it's legitimate. They need to do their job to challenge us and keep their game from being broken.
-
Haha, why do you think they waited with hard mode??!
-
Edited by Kessen: 12/29/2014 6:57:46 PMU know that the Crota cheese is not network manipulation because its transferring data to other players, network manipulation is when players spam other peoples connection to interfere with theirs so they lag all over while the manipulator has free reign over the other players who are helpless, so we cant get banned for that, u get banned for messing with other people's connections
-
This guy is the whole reason I love reading forums...lmao -blam!-tards, who really cares how people are beating raid...play the game how you want and everyone else will play how they want...now if people figure out how to mod weapons and whatnot then they should be concerned
-
What cracks me the hell up is when I see a post that says patch crota cheese because is messing up the game experience. Lol I call bullshit that's just a cry baby being pissed because people did the cheese and got the goods and the other person busted his ass and struggled for it. As for the "taking away game experience" your speaking for yourself not for others you do have the option to not cheese so your full of shit stop worrying about others experience and focus on your own. I forgot where I read that post but somebody wrote that bullshit up and I just had to comment on it. Lol
-
Omg this is the guy in kindergarten that turned you into the teacher for throwing crayons when she left the room
-
I could be way off here, but isn't this technically a networking error on bungie-server-side?
-
Your post says no attempt to modify the online client... nobody is modifing the online client, so where exactly is the violation of terms of service?
-
And how can Microsoft determine who intentionally used the glitch and who ended up with the glitch due to a series of connection errors? Shouldn't the glitch just he fixed?
-
Play smarter not harder. -blam!-ing idiots I swear to god everyone has done the cheese if you haven't you are just plain stupid. Learn the fight correct because it will be patched but for -blam!-s sake just glitch while you can.
-
Bungies terms don't mention network altering either. http://www.bungie.net/en/View/Bungie/eula
-
They're not going to ban anyone who's cheesed it. Seriously, so many people have cheesed it at this point there would be an internet-wide Bungie boycott if half the userbase was suddenly locked out from playing the game. Also, comparing cheesing to stealing from a cashier's register is a TERRIBLE analogy. There are no discernable damages to anyone from cheesing (apart from making it difficult to decide who to raid with when hard mode drops), whereas stealing from a merchant actually impacts and damages said merchant.
-
Banned players don't buy House of Wolves when it comes out. Not gonna happen!
ATTN: Post has been moved to a Destiny subreddit.
Because Reddit will be so much more sympathetic to your cause... lmao
