Though this is true, I highly doubt bungie will want people who abused this banned as they are all current dlc paying customers, and they won't want to risk losing that extra income as most people who buy the first dlc will probably continue to buy future ones. And I would estimate a very large portion of the playerbase has done this so it would be alot of people not to mention alot of work doing the banning
They will just patch it

They already have the dlc money so giving them a temp ban for a couple of weeks doesn't hurt Bungie at all. No lost income as most would be unbanned by the time the next DLC comes out.

Na dude doesn't work like that, if you get banned most will not come back to it and bungie wont take that risk

They had no problems banning the people who exploited the heavy ammo glitch. People who got banned for that came back and are playing the DLC. Why would this be any different?

I haven't even heard anything about the heavy ammo glitch so if it's true then they were banned because not many did it

They could also take their gear. It would be a mutch better solution to the problem honestly. And it would hurt those that abused this.
