anyone under 18 who can't be legally bound to a contract is a kid. by purest definition of the law. even emancipated minors .. are still.. you guessed it.. minors. now there are some instances where sub 18 can work and earn money.. i believe as early as 16 in some states.. however.. they still can't work a full time job til they're 18 legally. (child labor laws)
