But what if its not knowingly? They can't really ban them for leaving the game. Bungie has no way to know if it was purposeful or not.

In view of the amount of comments re the Destiny servers it happens to myriads of people. It happened a number times in the Atheon raid, I have tolerant friends, and I suspect it may happen when I get to Crota, so there is at least a possibility that I may unintentionally disconnect at the wrong time. . I am not raging just asking how Bungie would know the reasons why anybody disconnects and how they could seek to ban people for something which in theory could be their fault. My knowledge of computers is very limited so I would welcome your comments. You seem to be of the same opinion as me they they could not know

I agree with you about atheon. However, I have cleared the new raid about 10 times now with no network problems whatsoever. Not saying I am the standard. However, I was one of those who got DCd every 5 minutes in VoG.

I was getting weasled only during the raid yesterday, today I've been good to go. Got disconnected with one more swipe on Crota left. Thankfully my raid group is chill and wiped so they wouldn't beat him leaving me behind. Btw I enjoy taking Crota down the good ol fashioned way.
