Your point would be valid, IF Bungie provided a raid without bugs. They don't though... they are basically cheesing the players, so the players cheesing back is justified.
Examples:
-Oversoul kills everyone - even when you watch it explode first from DPS
-Crota doesn't take a knee at the same time (even though the shield bar is at the same place he did before)
-Kill sword bearer... sword doesn't show up
-Knight glitches through the barrier at the beginning.
-Chalice can't be picked up
There are a few others, but you get the point. If they provided us a raid where the mechanics weren't broken in favor of the raid, then you'd be 100% right... cheesing is pathetic... but when the raid is broken when running it legit, I think exploiting is fair.

The first two are lag related

I believe this 100%. I'm just making a (valid) point though... when the mechanics themselves are broken, cheesing is not only viable as an option, but a justifiable method.
-
Its all a matter of perspective I guess, Ive encountered all of those issues but cheesing is not an option for me and my team. If people want to do something they know is an exploit they will find all sorts of reasons why its a justifiable and valid method.

These glitches dont happen enough to justify cheesing. Yes the raids glitches should be fixed, but they dont happen very often.

That's not been my experience. Nearly every time we get an oversoul, we watch it explode... cheer, and wipe. Crota taking a knee at a different point in his health is pretty frequent, and often gets the guardian carrying the sword killed. The Knight and the Chalice don't happen very often, and the missing sword isn't all that frequent, but these things are often enough that I feel that it's just.

Yeah good point. But in my experience these glitches are rare in there numbers. Most common glitch would be the ogres taking over 1 minute to SPAWN if that its taken 2 once. But that isnt a problem as long as we got some nice swords on him before hand

Well put
