@ People Glitching Crota Raid - You make me sick
I've been to about 4-5 pugs from lfg.net and everytime we go in there, EVERYONE wants to glitch or exploit every boss encounter.
1. Glitch the bridge
2. Die and self res at gatekeeper, done in 5mins...
3. Skip shielded room by finding crota checkpoint, done and done
4. Die and self rez to negate no health regen- yea like this was even an issue
5. Have leader d/c when crota is kneeling down- really? you guys suck so bad you need to exploit this?
I hear this garbage over and over in every pug I join. My question is, how the F do you guys sleep at night knowing you are cheating on this very simple instance? All you need are competent players that communicate properly and this instance can easily done in 40 minutes.
I think Bungie should ban all you people for exploiting such a simple raid content. I'm not really one to say people need to earn their gear, but this is just getting ridiculous. Have some dignity people.

It's really just my way of saying how can you have a clean conscience when you are cheating and exploiting yourself into a really simple instance. It's a video game. Just because some people play differently than you (not saying they're right or wrong) doesn't mean you should get your panties all bunched up. Join a clan and make friends with said clan mates and raid with people you know and trust.

Right with you man, feel the same exact way. When my group cheesed the Templar it felt dirty and I hated it. Atheon was already mostly patched when I started doing raids so I never cheesed him. And I admit to cheesing the bridge a couple times, even though I didn't want to, my group was bent on cheesing so I just went with it. But when my group wanted to cheese Crota I left the game and lied about my wifi going out. I talked to one of them later and he said they tried cheesing it for 2 hours, but never got it. I laughed so hard.

You're acting as if CE is difficult, and having raid gear or being level 32 will actually impress anyone.

Lol! First world problems... It's just a game dumb dumb. Not even. It's just Destiny, which is half a game at best. Why would you worry about Crota, if Crota doesn't worry about you. Beating the raid the legit way doesn't make you student of the month in the eyes of Bungie, and cheesing it is just a way for people to reduce the poopy grind that this game is. Man, what a joker...

I beat it legit, but I'd honestly rather cheese. The game doesn't reward for the Deathsinger (hardest part.) I'd cheese all day, because RNG is a crapshoot.

It felt wrong and I didn't feel like the reward came with a fanfare or joyous whooping from the rest of the team. Just loot call outs and swift disconnections from xbox party. I won't be cheesing him again anytime soon, even on low level alts. I want to beat him correctly and bathe in the beautiful feeling of success for a battle hard won. I really hope bungie patch this problem so the necrochasm is well earned. Not cheesed by a bunch of Christmas noobs.

I've done it once both ways, and I can easily say that beating Crota normally is almost easier than cheesing him. And it's not hard to beat him at all, it just not fun when your team sucks. So that's why I resorted to cheesing him the second time and it was just as infuriating until we got it to work, but then people kept dying and we had to wipe because no one shot over soul. I just found a new group and beat him normally in one run lol

"I just want to play the game the way it was intended to be." then dont join PUG's, use friends "like was intended to be played" personally, i will play normally very happily (its not hard with basic communication and many times faster) but if im in a PUG and the majority want to cheese a part then ill go with the flow as i joined their game and as such follow their lead

It really takes away from the camaraderie and cohesiveness you acquire when completing these instances with others. BUT, on the other hand, that's just my opinion, just as this post is yours... and, you're entitled to it. HOWEVER, if what other people do affect you in such an apparent manner you should truly reevaluate yourself... or just grow up... I suppose you could be a man-child of sorts. Lol
