I totally agree with your point on the industry. And I know it's becoming a profession. That doesn't mean doing it accomplishes anything more than entertainment.
And please don't get me wrong, I love video games and entertainment as much as the next person. Its just that for the %99 of gamers who won't end up on the pro circuit, gaming is something you do as a break from accomplishment.
