I remember after the first mission on Venus where you first encounter and defeat the Vex you talk to the stranger and she mentions through the middle of the dialogue that "a side must be chosen even if it's the wrong side" that seems to me supportive of the theory that the traveler is not as pure as it seems to be. It could also be more expansive in its meaning that there may not be a "correct" alliance to choose. I personally think fallen, vex, hive, cabal, traveler, etc should not be trusted as humanity and or guardians in general are used as cattle or instruments to further these entities agendas which do not favor ours. Just my 2 cents

  • I mean we can't just side with hostile forces because we mistrust the traveler. All the enemy factions do have blood on their hands as much as say the guardians but like them we do have a will of our own even if we were revived by the light so I do not support the theory that we are enslaved to the traveler which was mentioned in another thread (in case you are wondering). The point I am making is that though we are being manipulated by the traveler, ghosts, speaker we are not necessarily causing carnage just for the damn hell of it but it is far from being absolute in the sense that we are holy and that every bidding we do is aligned with righteousness.
