Although another force could be controlling it, the Traveler could very likely be solely technological, or biomechanical like the Vex. After all, the Exos are technological.

Even if it bio mechanical then there is the question of who made still. I even thought of an idea that maybe we enter the traveler and find out the secrets, but of course we have to wait and see.
