You won't find me standing in one place long enough for this to help me.
Thanks for sharing the info with people who didn't already know about it though.

You'd be surprised. There are a few strikes out there where standing in one place can save you almost all the damage (from the Ultra anyway).

I think I would be surprised. I am not saying this information will not help other people, I am just saying I have played the hardest of the hard aspects of this game (VoG Hard, Nightfall (including Solo), etc...) and have never come across a reason to use it.
