Except that Bungie didn't plan Halo 4 or Halo 5 as they completed halo development work with Reach. Had the blueprinted some of the IP being used by 343 for the 2nd trilogy in the "Halo Bible?" Maybe, but to make a statement that the core elements of Destiny were being developed for a yet to be released game 6 years ago couldn't possibly be true unless Halo 5 ends up being Duke Nukem Forever

Edited by THE ACTI0N MAN: 10/18/2014 7:48:01 PMIt was planned, how else do you explain the Destiny poster in ODST? They planned ahead, Bungie left (some stayed and formed 343). Both used the early plans. It's why Halo 5 "Guardians" is an open world shooter -because that was the plan.

Edited by In2morrowsEyes: 10/19/2014 1:48:37 AMJust goes to show people will go to no ends to draw up support for their conclusions... That "Destiny Poster" does nothing more than refer to the word destiny and while the white circle could be the Traveler it could also be the moon. Did some of the concepts for Destiny exist at the time ODST was developed? Probably but the idea that Bungie would take 5 years to recycle story elements or character concepts from the most valuable sci-fi IP since Star Wars is laughable at best. This game steals more from Firefly than it does from Halo!
