If you read the patches notes you would have saw that they nerfed auto rifles dropping their crit from 1.5 -> 1.25 and the base damage by 2% and decreased the stability 4-17%. The mythoclast had a base damage reduction of 34% and an increase in crit from 1.25 -> 1.5. The crit it does is similar to what the base damage was before. I expect people will start complaining about scout rifles again but time will tell. I haven't had a chance to play post patch to see what the numbers feel like in the game.

  • Do the math. The critical still is less than the regular shots before. There are hand cannons better than this now.

  • In pve.... Scouts feel better, the mytho is trash, ar's are no longer in their glory days and the death zones on the towers in the vog are no joke. I personally don't like a lot of shit in the game but I don't like patches more. They lead to a snow ball effect of patches to fix patches that fixed patches and its just.... Awful at that point.

  • Finally someone who has actually tried out the patch in the vault. ; ) Would you care to elaborate a bit more on the Mythoclast in the vault. What are your personal opinions. Is the stability decrease too much or is it simply the crit damage reduction? Please give some constructive feedback. AR's have had way too much range. I've been sniped across PVP maps with them. They are close-mid range weapons. The towers were kinda cheap and when our group tried it once was way too slow to be useful. It was much easier just to do the fight normally. Every patch they've released to date has been to improve the game. The game is still in the first 2 months the patches will probably be rockier than ones later one, but the game will get continually patched. This won't change. People will continue to find methods that break the game and Bungie will continue to patch those things and balance everything out.
