The moment I found out that you could glitch the final boss was the moment I didn't want the vex mythos any more.
Having a vex doesn't mean shit. No skill necessary.
This portion of the patch is meaningless to me.

Have you tried getting to atheon? .. beating the templar is like trying to swim with your hands and feet tied ...

Use someone else's check point? Glitch the Templar? (OK, they fixed this but what about the last 3-4 weeks of free loot?)

What's wrong with helping others get a slight headway? .. with the vex mythoclast .. they had a chance at beating the raid 100% .. gave them a little confidence boost .. why should anyone else care how they got it? .. we .. as people want to help others .. we're not stingy with our skill

Well, all I'm saying is that I can't distinguish between those who've earned it and those who've glitched it. Therefore, the weapon has lost its credibility. At least to me. People are cheating and getting the drop. What do you expect me to think?

An item like the vex is a symbol in an MMO. It says that you have patience, skill, and dedication. It's the game's way of showing other players your status. When it can be attained through cheating, it has lost its status since it can no longer be distinguished if you are a God amongst men or just a cheater. Most people will not give you the benefit of the doubt.

In a game where NO ONE can communicate unless partied it REALLY doesn't matter what anyone thinks lol. It's like being judged by a deaf-mute person or a mime lol. Spot on man.
