I don't think you understand what destiny was made. Justin he was made for the hard-core gamers for casual gamers you just want to play crucible all day long. I didn't know so that they can try to appeal to more people. But in doing so, now they're trying to please both people with the same game. But The problem with it is though is that we use the same character for both parts of the game. Meaning that when they started out, they should've made separate weapon separate gear separate characters for crucible and Vanguard. But now because they didn't, people in the crucible don't appreciate the hard work with people playing Vanguard to put in so they're trying to take it all away just so that they can not die as much. Meaning that the hundreds of hours that me and my team have spent in this game is now equal to someone who is just barely joined the game has not even played more than an hour

  • Honestly, I think the PvP in this game was a terrible idea. It's just a fundamentally flawed concept for a game with character progression and hard-to-obtain unlockable weapons, but people would have complained if they didn't put it in. I would much rather just stick with the PvE and enjoy the story and explore the universe it's in. I love driving around in patrol mode exploring stuff. I would love to go on a raid, but I don't know when I'll have an uninterrupted block of time to find 5 other people to do it with. I have two electrical-computer engineering exams next week to study for and I have to get up before sunrise in the morning to drive the 25 miles to class. But considering that the crucible does exist, doesn't it make sense to actually balance it to make it fun? If it wasn't balanced, there would be even more people quitting in the middle of matches than there already are (ooooh I hate those people). I'm sure they appreciate the work you put in already when they see your level, your shiny armor, and those cool looking weapons. Someone who has only an hour in the game is still not going to have many abilities, or have a selection from each type of available weapon. They are still certainly not going to be equal in PvE. Now let's say they nerf it in the crucible, but not in PvE. It seems like it was so powerful that there wasn't really a reason to use anything else once you got it. So once more people have it, they won't use anything else either. Instead of people picking weapons based on their playstyle (someone who likes long distance picks a sniper rifle, someone prefers close quarters picks a shotgun, etc.), they pick the thing that has much better stats. Now there's a lack of variety in loadouts. I don't know about you, but being surrounded by people who are all using the same weapon as me would lessen the appreciation of how much work went into getting it. It doesn't feel very special anymore. Seems like it would still need to be nerfed at least slightly in PvE to get it more in line with other types of exotic weapons. Speaking of picking weapons based on stats rather than playstyle, this is a reason why they needed to nerf autorifles as well. Autorifles became the dominate weapon everywhere, even in PvE. I originally used scout rifles (because I like the quick and accurate headshots they give) but then I compared a couple un-upgraded rare autorifles to my upgraded scout rifle in PvE and (at the same distance) a single autorifle round was dealing about 2/3 the damage of a scout rifle headshot. No wonder the autorifle was being used so much. It can hold more than twice the ammo, fire much faster, and was nearly as accurate for ranges below sniper rifle type distances. It pretty much made other types of primary weapons obsolete, so now everyone was using similar weapons and it made things less interesting. It made finding new kinds of weapons kind of pointless because why would you ever use something else when its stats are so inferior to what you've been using, even if you would find this new weapon more fun or satisfying to use.
