I agree, unfortunately bungie for some reason wants pvp and pve to be the same.

But i must say that the VM isn't unbeatable as it stands i have gun'ed down many people who use the VM using the Epilogue and other Auto Rifles i find that they counter the VM nicely and nerfing both things would only leave it as imbalanced as before making the whole thing meaningless and pissing of the people who earned it for no reason.
