-blam!- off with your tired "kid living in your moms basement" bullshit. The more I hear it, the more I think you people are the spoiled kids in basements that need every damn thing handed to them the moment you pick up a game.
I don't consider myself a hardcore gamer and I also don't have time to play 5 hours a day, every day. I don't even have the Vex gun, nor have I cleared VoG yet and I kinda suck at the Crucible. But you won't see me cry like a baby in order to cut everyone's fun.
I'd much rather play the game and have the feeling like there are things to do, to achieve, to gear up and get better over time, than feel like we're all in this massively pointless snore-fest because a bunch of special snowflakes demand to be as badass as the gamer who actually worked on his characters within 5 minutes of picking up the game.
And guess what, competitive communities are carried by its most dedicated players, not the newcomers. In fact, they are the ones attracting them in the first place.
