Destiny 2 will receive an update tomorrow. Players will be required to log in to Destiny 2 again after installing the update. Please stay tuned to @BungieHelp for updates.
I'm sorry, i can see yout point, and to some extend you are definitely right...
You worked your ass off for that gun, so other players noticing the gun in your hands should digitaly bow and pay respect to you and i'm not being ironic or sarcastic here! Because thats the whole point of grinding and farming. Progressive players should definitely be rewarded in ways casual players can't be.
BUT!!!
What Bungie are trying to do here, is not only balancing the weaponry, it's about balancing the community/players.
Not everybody has the final ambition to beat the raid in hard mode and get the mythoclast. It's everybodys own choice, how they want to play the game...so there are only 2 options:
1. You create a separate matchmaking queue, only Lvl 25 and up are allowed or make it even players, who finished the raid at least once get their own queue. That way, you divide the players...low level players/chars don't get to play with the high-level players/chars.
2. You try and balance the armory, and when i look at the stats and my personal experiences with the mythoclast (my pov was always on the wrong side of the barrel!:)) I sure that after this nerf, a skilled player can still wreak havoc with it. But with this option, players can still put their low-level chars up against high-level berserkers...because thats what we pay for in the end...to play the game as we want to.
Because putting a insanely OP gun into the game kind of pushes EVERBODY to do one thing and one thing only: GET IT...
And thats were the real irony starts, because isn't that what all of the very "talkative" people in the forums complain about?
That bungie promised a huge, varied experience where players can chose they're own path, who they want to be, where they want to go, what kind of fighting style the chose? The mythoclast is nothing but a contradiction to that!
And to be quite honest, you can hate and complain as much as you want to, but in terms of rewarding and motivating players in PVP bungie could learn A LOT from Call of Duty (any part)!!
