This crap has to stop bungie! It's not cheating or glitching to beat bosses by effectively using the terrain around you to your advantage, it is simply sound strategy and it doesn't have to be "patched". The only thing in VoG that you can classify as a glitch is pushing Atheon over the edge.
Another thing, I distinctly remember all the marketing hype that claimed that I could have all this cool gear and I could choose how awesome I looked, but no, I have to grind for countless hours for gear I absolutely hate to look at but I have to put on cause it has the ONE more light that I need to level up. Not to mention that the only way to get to level thirty is by getting raid armor (which isn't so bad an idea, but again, don't like the look or some of the perks).
Now I'll stop ranting and instead offer some suggestions.
1. If you've ever played DC universe online before, then you will definitely know what I'm talking about here. So have an option to truly customize your character. You do this by being able to apply the look of whatever gear you have acquired previously in the game to the gear you currently have on, so in essence you will be able to maintain the better stats while having the look you want.
2.private matchmaking so I can play against my friends, but private matchmaking should not have gear drops or earn reputation because of the possibility that players will abuse this function to level up unfairly. So this mode will be purely for the fun of it.
3.the melee for the sunsinger should fire off a ball of fire or something like that, so damage wise comparable to the hunter throwing knife but be able to ignite enemies, I just think that would be awesome. But I understand if that isn't put in since it will mess up the already existing gameplay.
4. Talking about messing up existing gameplay... Please Don't -blam!-ing nerf the Vex Mythoclast!!! It is the only thing that I am willing to go through the hard raid for. (I guess that last one was more of a rant than a suggestion for the game but still...)

At some point, sunsinger melee had the ability to shoot fireballs. At least while using radiance. It was even in a trailer.

Yea I dont remember if it was in launch gameplay trailer or something. But nonetheless it was some of the last trailers before launch, and yea it was cut out also along with many many great things.

I've spent more time doing that than regular matchmaking on some games because you are facing friends! That's way more rewarding than facing other people! Please bungie keep this idea in mind. I might actually start playing crucible if that was an option even if there was no reward like Vozzici said.

How is killing your friends better than working together as a team to destroy other people? This concept had never made sense to me. I have never felt the need to compete against my friends or kill them. To each their own but it doesn't make sense to me to kill my friends.

Thanks for the feedback I understand what your saying but I think it is more rewarding to beat your friends over some random person. But overall I do agree that I like working with a team to strategize in PvE but now with the new changes I have no desire to even play the raid. There is no reward that will be better than the stuff I can buy now that they balanced everything.

The problem I have is that my group of friends knows exactly how each other plays and it doesn't bring much variety to the games. Maybe we are just too stuck in our play styles lol I just don't like killing my friends, kind of in the same sense as I would never want to fight one of my friends. Maybe I just take it too personally or take it to heart. I'm weird I guess lol

My confidence is shaken with destiny as of late. I'm glad I'm not level 30. It sounds like a terrible experience. I don't know what's going on with this game anymore. It's sad really. I have a feeling when I get dragon age it might be a long time before I play destiny again. I wanted this game to never come out of my console. I wanted to experience end game content for one in my life. Never saw it in Diablo 3 or path of exile or guild wars 2. Mostly because I can't stand being at a computer after working in front of one all day. I love this game but what is the point of getting to 30 when there are only three things to do a week besides pvp?

They really let us down and then took a piss on it with the new hot fix. It is ridiculous how fast the game went down the toilet. One fix and there are hundreds of forums saying wtf bungie! All we can do now is hope bungie grows a pair and mans up to their mistake.

But where is the content? Where is the end game that you grind on for weeks at a time? I never played Wow but you wouldn't pay $10 a month to do three things that barely take up an evening would you? I just don't get it I guess. I mean yeah the hot fix pissed people off but aren't there more important issues at hand?

Yes but those are long term. I think it's more important for bungie to focus on keeping the people that were already barely hanging onto the game. They just cut out the only reason to continue playing the 3 missions a week. Once they do that then they completely loose everything whereas if they fix this simple but large mistake we might all be willing to hold on until they come out with more than the three missions.

But that won't be taken care of in a small update will it? It's going to take a redesign to implement anything solid. This feels like a full price demo for destiny 2 right now. It's a freaking nightmare. I'm level 24 and I'm not sure what to do but go on patrol and resource hunt right now.

I played chess against my dad. He kicked my ass when I was little. Then I bought an electronic chess board endorsed by Gary Kasparov (sp?) And it continued to kick my as the rest of my life.
