They are your kids, the balance is easy. Give them everything of your yourself. When they are toddlers you are their hero. Later during the angst stages you will get your time. "Grind" out the early time and who knows? Chores can be grinding the relic iron, getting you that new purple fully upgraded. Early on just be there, not in the same room, but play with them and engage them. Besides when they are at school later in life you will have lots of time. Enjoy being their hero, hopefully they awe never quits.

Your best. THAT'S what you do, everytime, every age, every kid. Except each mistake you make as a lesson and move forward, teach them that too. At the ages from birth to about 2 I say keep them fed, clean, and sleep as much as possible. When they are awake stare them in the eyes and smile for 2 minutes solid each day. After that it's all based on you. Remember how you were as a kid it helps you keep them from making the same mistakes you did but also from coming down to hard on them when they do anyway. Each kid like each game is different. New rules. New challenges. Some predictable endings. Some with twists. Do your best. It's the best thing you'll ever do. Godspeed Guardian.
