My concerns with this hot fix are they took away ways to acquire needed items before fixing the jacked up loot / engram system. Also, their defense of Cryptard is nuts. If they wanted engrams to convey they could turn into any level, they shouldn't have given them the colors and names that differentiated. Instead of making it blue and calling it rare or purple and calling it legendary, since it can turn into anything from green to yellow, they should have just made all engrams turd brown and called them meh or just engram. I don't see the need to get folks hopes up on purpose.
Also, nerfing the engram rate after a hard wipe (your whole team dies in a dark zone and you get reset to the last checkpoint) in strikes absolutely SUCKS for a casual. Yes, I understand folks were deliberately dying in places to exploit rapid engram drops, but their solution is a double edge sword that penalizes casual players. Now if your whole team dies honestly, you get your engram rate nerfed. Makes you want to play it safe and not pick hard strikes.
If you want to put sidewalks between buildings the best way to do it is to make a yard of green grass between the buildings first. The ruts people put in the grass will show you where to pour the cement.
The fact that folks were committing suicide on purpose in strikes or shooting hours on end into a cave to farm engrams speaks VOLUMES about the loot / reward system.
Bungie billed this game as one that even a person with limited time could enjoy. ORLY? A nightfall strike and raid are level locked behind a level 26 door and with the current system in place you have to be a hard core PvP crucible loving hard core player with hours to play every day.
They need to fix the reward system / economy / loot drops.

They did this to nerf the moon mission exploit that produced about 45 enemies in under 60-120 seconds that took an auto rifle about the same amount of time to clear out. Just from playing on patrol mode, doing a couple of strikes and everything else in a normal day, this hotfix will have no effect on day to day grinding for engrams and materials.

Preach it! That "grass between building thing" was awesome btw.
