I am a single father and I play everyday. My son likes to watch me play and if he doesn't want to at the time he'll go in his room and play or watch tv, if he needs something I get up and get it for him or answer his questions then go back to playing. Do I get booted out because of inactivity? Yes, but I don't care my son is way more important than any game. Do other players get pissed at me when this happens? Yes, and I say go to hell if you don't like it, Destiny isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

I must say that all of the fathers out there, keep doing what your doing. I don't have kids of my own but was in a long relationship to where her kids still call me on Father's Day and some holidays. I would think that when I do have one of my own I would try to share my passion for gaming with them. Maybe even when I get old they will come and bring the "Xbox 9000" to show dad what gamings like now :) But to all of you gaming fathers out there, my hat goes off to you good sirs :)

I thank you all for the kind words but im just a dad doing whats best for my son just like any real father would do. Im not a single father by choice and yes i take pride in being a single father but having a good woman to help me raise my son would make me even more proud of my son and myself.

Edited by Kdregg: 9/21/2014 4:42:40 AMSingle father of two sons here, they're 18 and 20 now and gaming has been a big part of how we spend time together while they grew up, either playing, watching each other play, talking about games and it has been great. And when they move out we can still get togheter online wich is pretty awesome..

You can play with me anytime if you are on ps4 - CaidGraelbor

No question about it, at the end of the day I can handle a less than favorable gamer rep due to a few dropped games because I didn't want to miss my daughters first step. Those irreplaceable moments that trump anything a video game can offer. Keep up the good work

Well put
