Our parents have been friends since we were born, I grew up with her till I was about 9-10 and than our parents got busy and stopped talking. When I was 13 I met her again in middle school and we were both pretty mature by that time (I'm bipolar so I had no choice but to grow up fast and her family life isn't the best so same idea) and we hit it off like nobody's business. We started 'dating' in no time and to our parents it became apparent that we weren't just like kiddy love, shit was real. We stayed together until I was... 15? And than she started flirting around and kissing other guys and I got tired of it. She spent the next year silently trying to reach out to me while I publicly made an ass of her on a regular basis. Long story short, got a new girlfriend that never even got close to her place in me heart (yar) and now I'm 18, she just graduated and is going into college, and by god if it's the last thing I do I'm going to win that girls heart. If there is such a thing as a soul mate, this is it. We grew up together, basically engineered since birth to understand and love one another and honestly I'm done wasting my time in life with girls I don't want to be with while I let the one girl I do slip away.
