A hornet also classifies as a wasp...just a really big one so ye...keep that in mind when you vote.
I picked Wasps:
Spider - they help keep the insect population low, including mosquitoes. They also don't care what you do as long as you don't try ending their lives and even then they don't do shit half the time besides try to run away.
Wasps - they -blam!- shit up, they sting you. If one flies onto your hand and YOU DON'T DO ANYTHING it'll sting you if you move an inch. They try to kill bees, our natural pollinators and honey makers. Their sole purpose of existing is killing insects to build their colony and repeat the cycle. At least Spiders have a reason to kill, that's to feed themselves. The average wasp has a painful sting where as only some spiders have deadly and painful bites (if they bite you that it).
Wasps -blam!-ing fly into your face and sting you for no reason whatsoever and you can't even retaliate. When spiders jump and crawl around and bite you at least you can retaliate.
I agree spiders are scary, well the big ones are but you can get rid of them recently. A new part of the human body allows us to kill spiders...it is located beneath your legs and has 5 little "toes" coming out of it...it...is...known as the...foot. Using the foot you can squash spiders and kill them and you can even wear shoes to keep your foot clean.
Using your hand to kill wasps will cause you to get stung since even if you do kill the wasp successfully without getting stung, the scent of the blood will attract more wasps and alert them to try and sting you.
