That isn't very hard though, is it? Just takes forever. Aim in one spot, fire when he shows up, block fire with some greatshield. Then rinse and repeat for half an hour, no?

It's not hard it's just if you mess up [u]once[/u] you have to restart the fight all over again. It took me 3 tries and an hour.

Makes sense. Not very different in SL1 runs in that aspect though. RTSR is pretty invaluable for some bosses, so one hit will end it just the same. Which can be an incredible pain on bosses like Kalameet and Manus.
