Coming Back, But What Expansions?
I have been watching gameplay for D2 and just got bored with other games. I am looking to return and my last expansion was Shadowkeep. Just curious if I need to purchase the rest and are they worth it before "The Final Shape" comes out.

Witch queen and lightfall are all that is really needed to understand the story thus far, everything else is just flavor since you have been watching stuff about it for a while

4 RepliesThere's a Legacy Collection that gives you Beyond Light, Shadowkeep, and Beyond Light. Beyond Light gives access to Stasis. The Lightfall expansion gives access to Strand. There's a Lightfall Bundle that gives access to LIghtfall wi6h the four seasons (that will expire) if you're crazy enough to grind them before The Final Shape drops in June. The Final Shape offers a bundle with the three episodes (replacing the seasonal model) if you're interested. This expansion introduces Prismatic - an ability that will combine different class abilities. This is a long term game LOL so you may consider buying during seasonal or Event Sales And you will eventually buy a lot of their products.

Witch Queen is the best out of the three most recent, however the others have a new subclass. Also Beyond Light gear and gameplay is a bit out dated (no origin traits, legendary campaign, etc). In regards to the subclasses though, with Prismatic you will have access to a few strand and stasis abilities. Also also, make sure you get up to date on the lore!

2 RepliesI will suggest Beyond Light and Lightfall for the Subclasses I will suggest Witch Queen for the campaign. If there were no Subclasses with Lightfall and Beyond Light, I would not suggest them, but they have those, so not much I can really do about it.

If you have played before, I would skip the new light. It is overly tedious in my opinion. Also, don’t forget that you can get to max power with the gift of the thunder gods crate. -
100% get witch queen and beyond light isn't bad. If you're a completionist get everything you'll have alot of content to play.

4 RepliesI would suggest none at the moment, play the into the light content since it's free and see if you dig it b4 spending money. You have not played in a long time and the game has changed a lot.
