Eververse engrams need bad luck protection
No one wants year 1 and 2 items they already have. Last several engrams I’ve gotten were duplicate items from vanilla destiny. I’m getting real sick of it.

It no longer seems to give duplicates, but do remember that alot of ghost and sparrow models are the same for the early years. Though I was getting the same sparrow, turns out it's just different iterations.

It would be cool if we could focus them to a particular season Maybe not guarantee an exact item from said season but it’ll guarantee an item from that season

Bright Engrams should drop more often and from more sources, but making them guarantee cosmetics that you don't own would mean you'd have everything in the store within a few seasons, and you'd never buy anything with Bright Dust, because you would just be able to farm engrams for it later on

3 Replies“My free-paid loot isn’t good enough. Give me more, better free stuff!” Having never spent a single penny on silver, I see eververse engrams as Easter eggs. Sometimes I get something I’ll never use and don’t care about, no biggie. Sometimes I’ll get an exotic ornament, which is awesome. Maybe try not being an entitled brat?

1 ReplyBungie weighted RNG strikes again. If you roll exotic it seems to give new items not received. If you roll for legendary you get any random roll received or not. This is the same for all vendors with exceptions. Expect legendary. Pray it works right. A notable example of an exception is master lost sectors. You need solo flawless clear to get a high probability of getting new exotic. Probably goes down considerably on repeat or legendary runs.

It allmost the same as to ask: why allmost all guns have abviously trash perk setups and what the point of such junky perk pools? Well...it's obvious :)

It seems at the beginning of the season they drop exotic emotes/ornaments much easier, so it might just be the case that you already have most (if not all) of the items they added to the pool for that season and the chance for the rest to drop is lower. Not all Eververse items are in the Bright Engram pool, though they do have a preview for what they added if you select it. It would be nice if it was able to drop only items you don't have or Bright Dust though.

You should try playing Rocket League. Even the rarest loot boxes consistently drop complete dookie.

Honestly, I wouldn't be as bothered by it were it not for the fact that they took away how dismantling EV items gave back small stacks of dust. Like, I would take bright dust any day of the week over my 57th Honeycomb Shell that I already obtained when it first released into its respective Bright Engram pool. Crazy how many lazy reskins Bungie threw into the game back then regardless if it was armor, ships or sparrows. All the more reason to not support them via Silver purchases, though there are some idiots who will always buy slop from the store the moment they drop it.

I swear bungie said it was on a knockout system until you got everything but i will still get random -blam!- ghosts sparrows and ships i got 4 years ago meanwhile i still have ornaments and emotes im missing

I literally still get stuff dropped to me from curse of Osiris I mean what a damn joke. Of all the things that could drop it's always something in the first three to five seasons
