I am in a mess right now please help.
I have been playing destiny 2 in my steam account from the past 2 years but not consistently and I have also bought 1 dlc, beyond light in my steam account.
Now the problem arise when epic games releases free legacy collection 2023 and I got it for free but its on my epic games library.
Now what should I do. How should I proceed further. I haven't played the game since past 2 months and I am thinking of playing now but from where should I download it. Steam or epic store ? And what about my dlc and my game data ?? Please help as soon as possible 🥺🙏

I was playing Destiny 2 on Steam ever since it transferred from battle.net. On Steam, i own Forsaken, Beyond Light and TWQ. I also claimed a promotion on Epic, that contained 30th Anniversary, so that's the only piece of content i own there. And now i'm playing on Epic.I set up the crossave of my Steam characters onto my Epic account. Now, on Epic, i can't play any of DLC's i have on Steam, i have no access to Shattered Throne, DSC, Last Wish, The Vow, i can't do business with Variks, Finch, anything related to my Steam expansions. But i can freely use every single piece of gear i earned on Steam, for example, my current loadout on Epic is Malfeasance, Tyranny of Heaven and Red Herring. I can't earn them again on Epic, but i can use those i already have. My vault from Steam is also on Epic, fully at my disposal.

Game data is technically stored on Bungies servers....BUT bound to the system that created them. You can set up cross save where you can use your toons on epic. Any dlc you purchased does NOT transfer in cross save and MUST be purchased on all systems.
