Is it just me or was the nerf to the Hunter aspect “Ensnaring Slam” just way too blunt?
Having used it a lot pre-nerf, it was enjoyable to string up whatever your target was, with a few moments to really give it to ‘em while they’re hanging. Post-nerf it just feels like an entirely useless Aspect.
Even WITH the Thread of Continuity Fragment, after pounding the ground, you barely have enough time to finish the Hunter animation of bringing the perspective back to 1st person and raising their gun back up to ready before the target is already freeing itself from the trap. You may get a few rounds in (and I mean only a few), but there’s quite literally no way to put any meaningful damage into the target before they’re free, making the use of this Aspect, well…useless.
Without the Fragment, forget about it. Don’t even use the Aspect. You’ll still be in animation by the time they’re free. Tested this on some Barrier Champions on Legend activities and yeah, you’re just bringing your gun to ready and they’re already free and in some cases firing at you.
Please Bungie, revert the shortened timer on trapped enemies in Ensnaring Slam to what it was before. The nerf you’ve done to it effectively killed the the aspect and the fun tied to it.
