I personally have never completed a raid in D2, and only a couple in D1 (the original Vault of Glass and Crota's End), and I can tell you that those were some of the most fun interactions I've had in gaming. Those raids took communication (via headset), coordination, and a good bit of friendly/encouraging banter to beat. How often do matchmade players even bother turning on a mic to actually be supportive? How are matchmade randoms supposed to coordinate without headsets in the heat of an encounter? It's simply not feasible for matchmade randoms to beat a raid. By all means, prove me wrong.
