What I did was lay out an example that nearly every player who has engaged in the matchmade Strike playlist has experienced, but sure, reduce it to "just my opinion".
When random players are confronted with the simplest of mechanics, the results aren't always inspiring.
Imagine that the matchmade version of Menagerie was able to be failed, resulting in no loot whatsoever.
Remember the Warsat public event from Season of the Worthy? Two mechanics: keep enemies out of the zone for a set time, then throw orbs. Players complained (for many reasons) but especially because the event was just too difficult [i]and could be failed[/i].
And while I have seen the Dark Side of LFG, there's nothing stopping players from setting up their own groups and making the restrictions as free or as restrictive as they like.
By all means, have an [b][i]opt-in matchmaking[/i][/b] for raids, but mark my words, it won't be the solution people are expecting.
Your role as a moderator enables you immediately ban this user from messaging (bypassing the report queue) if you select a punishment.
