$12 EMOTE???? $8 for ONE weapon skin. Eververse items are to expensive!
Im loving all the changes they have made to the game...Except the prices in the eververse they are just to high. $12 bucks for ONE emote and weapon skins at $8 for ONE weapon skin is ridiculous. Just lower them a few dollars so it feels like a good deal and not a rip-off.

I like that exotic multiplayer emote but I agree that it’s too expensive. It’s most likely high to find Bungie now they’re solo, though. Regardless, still too much.

F2P games normally get away with high cashshop prices as the content is free but Bungie is charging for the content... If the season of the undying content is the level of we can expect season then the value is not there...as I would say it's on the same level if not lower than the quality of content you get from free from f2p games for free.

4 RepliesEven if you could get everything from eververse for 1$ it would be too expensive. The fools that pay for this crap are the reason that gaming has lost its soul. Selling cosmetics and selling boosters are not needed pay for development costs, those have been going down relative to the amount of money brought in through base game sales for years. All of the other costs also continue to go down as the market grows larger. The only thing the eververse and similar in other games does is boost the bank accounts of executives and stockholders. If you ever buy silver you are part of the problem and you deserve having been ripped off.

problem is that almost noone is buying those items and reducing the price doesnt seem to help that much.. so its a balance between high prices and low turnover.. so you would have to sell 12 items for 0,99$ or one for 12, and it seems that there are just enough nitpicks to buy it at 12 bucks so that this is the better byusiness model than trying to sell it to people who wants to spend 0,99$ .. so sad as this might be.. cheap doesnt sell as it seems.. =)

Yeah they just seem so overpriced for what they are that i don't even seem to consider buying any. The same with the sparrows (including that Hive one that absolutely should've been a dungeon reward), like why would i waste £10 on a cosmetic? Especially one that costs about the same as a season pass

I feel like 2 bucks seems reasonable for a single weapon ornament. I think I paid like 3 bucks for a weapon skin in black ops 2 back in the day. But yeah, eververse stuff is such a rip off it’s not even funny. 2 bucks is still too expensive for an ingame cosmetic, but at least it’s cheap on the wallet in general. I’d probably buy a few if they were cheaper. At current price, he’ll no, bungie ain’t getti nfg a dime! I don’t get why they don’t get it though. Charge less, and you’ll make more money because more people would be willing to buy!

I would never consider buying these items for the current price they are asking. Seriously, even if they knocked 50% off, I probably still wouldn't be a buyer.

We get it, Eververse stuff is cosmetic (for the most part). However, all the cool shit is from Eververse and now we get even less Engrams that don't even guarantee you Shadowkeep-related Eververse gear. If that's not bs, I don't know what is. I hope the Shadowkeep honeymoon wears off soon, people defending Bungie for this are absolutely ridiculous.

They would make alot more money if everything started at a buck and capped at $5. The way they priced it ensures most will never purchase a thing.

I'd buy some of the things if they were about $2. Right now I spend $0 at Eververse. If I bought 5 items at $2 each, that'd be $10 more that Bungie would have from me.

The prices are honestly outrageous. The cost of a couple emotes is like 20% the price of the expansion. Like come on, really? If stuff was a couple of dollars, I’d buy bits here and there. But then they also purposely sell silver in odd amounts that leave you with leftover. Very shady.

We've seen Eververse and mtx increase season upon season from D1. What will D3 be like in a year or so from now.

I would feel better about this season if the raid gear wasn't re-skins. End game activities should give you good looking gear and shaders, not recycled content. I do really like the look if the GoS stuff but it isn't worth the cost of new designs.

2 RepliesBeen saying this, they said the switch was to bright dust but I am honestly getting less than I did before and the store is still on 5 day rotation plus you get way way less engrams. I feel like Activision is still producing this game.
