I wouldn’t have said it 10 days ago. Every elimination game I’ve played has been a complete toss up and 6v6 control... well, there’s few streaks. I’m winning and then losing and then winning ... and almost never a stomping either way since shadowkeep. Matches are largely made of like 2-3 veterans per team and then the rest are completely fresh new blueberries. So maybe not “high quality” but infinitely even which is far more important.
That’s my experience over the past 6 days and I’m loving being in the crucible for the first time in awhile. Sorry yours isn’t the same.

I should refrain— by match quality I don’t mean skill differentials. I mean literal connection quality. I’ve seen some pretty bad lag and bad hit registration. And I don’t like the return to the year one scout rifle meta. That gameplay is tracked out.

Edited by Lots of Dogs: 10/9/2019 7:35:40 PMI see the confusion. I haven’t had any lag issues to speak of, but in all my years playing destiny (D1 beta) I’ve only ever had a half a dozen truly bad lag experiences so it never really is something I care about. But if you have, I could easily see frustration. And we just disagree on the SR meta - although I refer to it as the “put hand cannons where they belong” meta. Talk about a played out theme. But I don’t see many SR. I actually see more AR as an increase than anything else. Actually am seeing fewer shotguns too for some reason. May just be the fresh blueberries haven’t caught on yet.
