The quality of Destiny 2 is roughly in line with the quality I would expect of Bungie of olde - very high, or easily the highest in many regards. Destiny evolves, and with evolution comes hangups and disasters and un-cute animals which are unlikely to amass funds for their salvation and etc.
Also, your imagining that all other forum people have Stockholme Syndrome - even where that specific mechanic could not ever work in the relationship between a legal entity and a private citizenry - gives me clues as to why you might imagine that there are serious problems with the Destiny series that have not been fixed ever. Perhaps these problems are only problems to a very few, or perhaps there is a collection of unique individuals that by virtue of unusual clarity of mind (or the opposite) create grievances that become impossible to fix since they are not apparent to others and the "fixing" of them would confuse or annoy everyone.
I see that you must care very much about Destiny. I also see that you must enjoy playing despite your decision that you do not. I say this - when I do anything and I expect to be annoyed, to be let down and to have trouble finding the good in my activity, that is my experience. When I begin an activity with the knowledge that the mechanics of time and deliberate interaction prevent me from making use of preconception as to whether or not I will be rewarded by the activity, then I tend to have a lot more fun.
It's like watching a bad movie in a bad mood... that won't stand. But watching a bad movie in a very good mood - well then you get a cult classic.
