Let me play devil's advocate, if no one else has...
What if Bungie has done this to make streamers look bad and turn the community against them?
What if the summit events upset Bungie and this is them getting back at the streamers?

Though that would be interesting, I don’t support anything with an ill intent. Bungie just flopped hard with black armory. It happens and we can just hope they learn from it.
