So as a beta player who has played every day for at least 3 to 4 hours . Well done !!! . Its about time that you have tailored the game for the hard core instead of the the ' i've played for 3 hours this week and still havnt got the weapon/armour ' brigade . We have stayed with you for a long time . Learning to play the game , to grind thru all of the content , only to see players recieving hand outs to level up etc. Well congrats not this time . Just played for 7 hours hitting a brick wall and enjoyed every minute . Have i got all the exotics ....NO Have i got all the badges....NO Have i still things to play for .....hell yes . I want to earn my rewards , to have the sense of achievement that comes with that . Again WELL DONE BUNGIE

It's funny that Bungie ( not necessarily you Cozmo) thought this would be a exciting "event" that would make people happy with you, all this time been waiting for this , and it's a puzzle , a puzzle that will only be relevant for short time, a puzzle gives very little hint or logic on how to solve it beyond what was uncovered at volundr forge , at least a game like my namesake, Zelda, will give you clues as to how to get it solved , the dungeon is usually structured around getting you to that point and being able to solve it when enough of the dungeon has been explored , but here with your niobe labs all you have is a rather plain room with hidden symbols that you gave no actual clue to solving beyond what sounds like vague Nordic runes. You could have made this a special mission ala whisper , a strike of some significant difficulty, another dungeon , something of substance , but all you had was a puzzle that won't even matter in a week or so . You guys need to realize you try way to hard to be clever with your puzzles and your secret in game content, and aside from the occasional whisper style mission all people really seem to want is just to shoot shit , not spend half the day trying to figure out a super vague puzzle or worse watch someone else try to figure it out.

hey maybe make content that doesnt require me to google some historical bull crap cipher that i have never heard of just to be able to play your game. i'm okay with puzzles but if the material isn't in even in the game itself then what the hell is the point.

You don't have to do the puzzle. Once its completed by one group, the forge is unlocked for all

thats the crappiest excuse i've heard. maybe i want to complete it? i should be able to do. but if the entire community is struggling with it, it doesnt sound like an individual problem, its a bungie problem.

i think everyone is a little disappointed that this one event has taken more time to complete then almost every raid that has come out besides vault and last wish. it's absurd. it doesnt make for a fun activity, it's hard to lighten up when you'd hope to be able to accomplish something that isn't even a dungeon.

Again, I agree... but it shouldn't be that hard to lighten up. It is just game after all. And it's not like this is new for Bungie. They've been tripping over their own feet for a while now. Just sit back and laugh bro. Much healthier.

I think the issue is that we waited weeks for a time gated unlock to get here, only to be stifled by this inane chore of a puzzle that mere mortals like me cannot complete/figure out. This is a shooter, not a Mensa test. I know nothing about cryptography/decoding stuff or historical stuff that were figured out just to get emblems and a message - which also needed decrypting. On top of all that, it's not fun to watch a streamer/Reddit forum for clues or even wait longer to get in on the action. And what about solo players? Zero chance to accomplish unlocking this - which I'll add I've solo unlocked all previous forges (as have many). I feel like Bungie linked to Twitch so they could bolster their streamer numbers and head-counts on views for their game. Hell, even guys like Datto has sub only chat on, so that cash grab to sub just to have the right to speak further proves my theory. I, like many, looked forward all day to get home and dive in, only to be left with nothing to do but maybe watch someone else play. 10/10 Won't buy Destiny 3. Bungie gave up us normal people, so I give up on them.

Well said. I agree with you as well. And yes, I'm just as dissatisfied and disappointed in the roll out of every single forge. All I was saying is, he didn't need to bite my head off. I was literally just trying to be helpful.

It’s highly unlikely that your average customer using lfg is going to be able to complete this. It’s now 01.04 in the morning here, guess I won’t be enjoying my new content then.

You created content for streamers and are pushing a model where people have to sub to even just chat on a Twitch channel due to players having nothing new to do. The Activision force is strong with you. It's a shame that making good games isn't.
