I mean... How'd you find out about whisper of the worm? Hmmm

Was on Io, killed a random enemy and was with my 2 bestfriend. Did the whole thing didn’t even know there was video about it.
-
That's how I found Gofannan forge quest, just started killing random Fallen in the new raid

I'm going to let you think about that for a moment recording this post. Edit: I will give you a hint, you just made Bungie look a lot worse...
-
I killed a yellow bar enemy on a cliff and a portal opened up....i had no ide a what I was doing but still found it.
-
Yeah, sure. You found it from twitch and YouTube. Stfu
-
No dude. Most people killed the yellow bar and went to the portal myself included. That was a puzzle that anyone could discover and then go and do with friends. This forge nonsense is basically Bungie making content that less than 0.01% of the community has a hope in hell of having enough spare time to do. The codes alone require you to know encryption and computer science. This is not what I would ever consider acceptable to throw into the game.
-
No reason to be hostile. I did find it by myself, but I like I said, I had no idea what was happening once I went in there. I promptly failed.
-
Promptly as in 20 minutes.
-
Yeah...I kinda sat in there running around like a chicken with my head cut off, and jumping off ledges, and getting absolutely murdered by every enemy in there, ha.
-
There was a portal ..
-
My friend and I actually found the portal before it was posted! Soo it’s possible to stumble across them.
-
Skarrow streamed it the instant it became available, he broke the news about it
-
-
Well we searched google and YouTube when we found it and no results
-
No no he didn't
-
Exactly, I found out about the Gofannan forge quest while I was dicking around in the shadows of the past raid so all it takes is a little exploration
-
That doesn't count as it doesn't fit the narrative
-
I mean it does continue the story of Xol and Nokris sooooo....
-
Lol no I mean the narrative of Niobe labs favoring streamers being bad
-
Aren't streamers people? I always found it weird how the forums talk about them as if they're subhuman haha
-
I mean they seem to have more time than the the rest of us
-
Yeah true, I can see that. But at the same time they shouldn't be the sole group of people that the community points the finger at whenever something goes wrong
-
They’re usually the ones behind it Do enough research and you point every nerf in their direction Every activity that was made harder or different The complete overhaul of crucible at the start of D2 and then the revert back If bungie didn’t listen to streamers so much(because free advertising) the game would be in much better shape
-
Would it though? Because again, streamers are still people... Still members of the community and each has a different opinion on what's good for the game and what's bad, just like you and me. It's not like streamers get together and plan on how they'll ruin the game for everybody else, and it's dumb to make any subcategory of any community the scape goat
-
The difference between good for the game and good for your revenue Nobody is gonna sub to a streamer that get his ass beat all day every day. So simple solution, complain until you get what you want, or leave like they all did. Changes get made, you benefit, subs keep coming Now take all that crap away and you have a version of destiny that is so much better than the crap we getting lumbered with
