You honestly think Bungie balances around the forums, which are probably less than 10% of it's playerbase, and not based on stats?
Bungie has said time and time again they want variety and everything to be viable, if people aren't playing a variety of stuff they nerf the stuff everyone is playing to spread out the field more. It's not their fault every kid and their grandma is trying to KDA whore and playing the same "best" junk in every match. It's the communities.

Class changes? stats to show why.[/b] You're just a cry baby that wants to herd into the "biggest thing of the month" or you wouldn't care. I sure as hell don't. I can play all the classes/subclasses with all the gun archtypes at a 1.0 kdr or higher, so what does nerfing the most popular ones mean to me. The reason you get affirmation bias off of what you're saying is because the more people that are doing something the more people there will be on the receiving end of it to complain about it.

Yes, that is why you have SBMM. Which forces you to TLW, GoM and Consp-D/PC+1 like all the others in every match so you're not getting farmed. Everything makes sense now.

Good for them though, a stat that no one can see without taking the time to look them up is inflated. They totally accomplish something ;) I think maybe 2 or 3 of the games since I started actively playing again a couple of weeks ago have felt like I was being farmed. And those were extraordinarily lopsided 6v(1+1+1+1+1+1) queues that immediately got broken up. You do see the occasional loser super-try-harding stormcaller or striker with UR and longbow right now, but eventually they'll play with people who only use UR+longbow so let them go ahead and try their little hearts out.

they said in the ign video that they nerf weapons if people get killed by something a lot and it's really annoying to them. to me that's basically saying yeah if you bitch about stuff we'll nerf it.
