How about this? Whats so different than an a pressing need to take a shit. Compared to a quick ten minute smoke break? Both take roughly the same amount of time. Get use to the fact that you aren't in control of their life but you are in your own. Leave the group. Find your anti break buddies. Raid with them. I don't feel like sitting in my chair for an hour straight not doing anything but twiddle my thumbs to make my character do the splits for you. Me and majority of everyone else is going to take a break now and then. Let us decide what the break is gonna be for. [spoiler]though I do agree with you on one thing. This is why I either play with one of two groups. 1) my buddies who either understand the smoke breaks or also have their own smoke breaks. 2) I tag along with a sherpa and a bunch of newbies. While he takes the next half an hour to explain it. I smoke. Grab some food. Relax from my Destiny job/career. Come back. Wipe a couple dozen times cuz they still don't understand. And then repeat at each boss.
